Kundalini Yoga Weekend

Kundalini Yoga teacher training weekend is again happening right now in the province of Skåne, southern Sweden. The theme of this weekend is Yogic history and the lead teacher in command is Wiveca Leuchovius. She is the biggest expert on the subject in our country and I am very lucky to work with her at this teacher training program.

swimming like a whale

I just love this sweet little statue outside of the public pool that I go visit each tuesday. I call it Ironlady and Dophin. It’s good to be back again after a summer of mostly big waves and salty water. Right now I feel more like a whale than a dolphin, but it’s only gonna get better.

My great friend and  ”mentor in yoga”  Wiveca from Göteborg has been at my place the whole weekend. It’s absolutely fantastic to spend time together, share and get things sorted out. Teacher Training “Kundalini Yoga South- The second year” started on saturday and having Wiveca around makes everything run smoothly and nicely.

Enjoy your tuesday. Big hug from down South!

Meditation by Bhai Himat

“Open your awareness and include everything you can. Experience the vastness of your consciousness” This meditation was given by Bhai Himat in June 2010.

Posture: Sit in easy pose. Mudra: Place the thumbs over the Sun and Mercury (the third and fourth) fingers. Extend the Jupiter and Saturn (the index and middle) fingers. Place the left hand facing but not touching your heart center. Your right hand faces forward like an antenna. Eye Position: The eyes are closed and looking through the Third Eye point. Breath Pattern: Inhale in four equal parts. Exhale in four equal parts. The breath should be very long, soft and silent. You are controlling the breath so that it is slow and gentle. Mantra: Listen to the mantra Jalay Hai Thalay Hai Abheet Hai Abhay Hai Praboo Hai Ajoo Ha Adais Hai Abhais Hai*  Time: Continue for 31 minutes.

To end: Take a deep breath inhale. Hold your breath and press your hands on your heart center. Squeeze the body and consolidate your energy. Exhale. Repeat two times more. Relax. Enjoy/Jona *Thou art in water and on land. Thou art without fear and Thou grantest fearlessness. Thou art the Suprememe Master, never changing. Belonging to no country and having no garb. - Jaap Sahib by Guru Gobind Singh. English transaltion undert the guidance of Baba Virsa Singh Ji.
