With love to all my sporty friends. Watch if you have a hard time getting out or save for days you need inspiration.

january is done
January of 2011 is in the books. Started up with two solid weeks of yoga and training at Las Playitas, Fuerteventura. Back home it’s been much of the same. Teaching yoga, living loving and doing things that keep me alive. Swim, bike, run, food, sleep, meditate and repeat. That´s about it really. Right now I pretty much just go with the flow. Life is so much sweeter when you appreciate the moment you are in so much that yesterday and tomorrow aren’t even tempting you to think on them. I do have a goal at the horizon for 2011. On May 14 the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Mallorca will take place and I will participate. Just a little race to keep me moving. Alright, that´s all I have to report on. Oh believe me I am beyond excited. Way beyond….

you never really know what’s next
At this moment I can’t even put it into words the way I feel to be able to live a life filled with swim, bike, run & yoga. Simply put, I love it. Totally blessed that this is what happens everyday in my life. I’m ready to get back to Sweden, simple and routine oriented days, teaching and training, sleeping and eating. I value the fact I’ve always followed my dreams and that I just never want to miss any single moment. Now I am trying to figure out and understand what next. On the bike ride today I just kept wondering what next, what next, what next…. I guess I’ll figure it out sooner or later if I just by be patient, present and see what happens. OK, I better sleep on it, one meditation&morning run to do, then I fly home to my family.
Keep going, never let go of your dreams, the world is not a safe place without something to hold onto.

Spain day 3

October 13th, 2010 av adminmy morning swim
I love the early morning swim practice with coach each tuesday and thursday. I find my balance in the pool. Being an athlete, keeping discipline is very easy for me. I just love to get up in the morning and do my Sadhana however hard it might be. My challenge has always been to pace myself and find balance in life. Water is calming.

radiant power
Wearing white on the bike today. Bright white clothing is said to increase your radiant power and is the dress code of kundalini yoga teachers. When teaching that is. I felt great and strong the whole ride, but I don’t think it had anything to do with the color of my jersey. It’s the legs and the heart that keep you moving. The radiant power comes from your heart center.
Have a great weekend & follow your heart.

Stillness has arrived
Fall is here. It’s a rainy day. Sky is gray from top to bottom. It didn’t bother me at all that I got soaked during the bike ride. I am a Finnish and hard core, that always helps :0)
Growing up in the forest I have a habit since childhood to just run out when I feel uneasy or some kind of tension within. This strategy has always worked really well for me. Bodywork blow my problems away and I soon feel light and free again. It’s just my habit. Some love to talk. I prefer to walk.
Happy training!

swimming like a whale
I just love this sweet little statue outside of the public pool that I go visit each tuesday. I call it Ironlady and Dophin. It’s good to be back again after a summer of mostly big waves and salty water. Right now I feel more like a whale than a dolphin, but it’s only gonna get better.
My great friend and ”mentor in yoga” Wiveca from Göteborg has been at my place the whole weekend. It’s absolutely fantastic to spend time together, share and get things sorted out. Teacher Training “Kundalini Yoga South- The second year” started on saturday and having Wiveca around makes everything run smoothly and nicely.
Enjoy your tuesday. Big hug from down South!

The key is to just get started
Sometimes I think and think and try to deepen my clarity on my life’s purpose. But thinking isn’t getting me anywhere really. I rather just get up, meditate and start moving. I have been the random trainer since Ironman Hawaii 2008. My workouts are day- to-day affairs with no rhyme or reason. Coach says that the scientific trainer is the one most likely to peak on race day. “You should build a map around your target race to be at the front”. But this lady has no race coming up anytime soon, so Intuition is my map at the moment. I’m a huge fan of following my heart, so as you wonder where to begin, my advice would be: Where ever you feel most inspired. The key is to just get started!!
Wishing you a incredible week

I built my lunch around a sharon fruit today.
